History

Supplied new by Aston Martin main agents Chapman Spooner and first registered on 9th July 1984 to its first owner, W.A.Goold Ltd of George Street, Walsall, West Midlands, this original Vantage was specified from new in rare ‘Old English Pewter’ coachwork and Fawn hides with manual transmission

One of only 52 ‘BBS Vantage’ models constructed in right hand drive with manual gearbox, of which just two examples were originally finished in this attractive colour combination

Maintained from new to 1989 by main agents Chapman Spooner with extensive supporting documentation retained within the history file, the original service book contains thirteen service stamps by CS during that period and is supported with complete paper records of all service works undertaken

By May 1989 the recorded mileage was 61,858 and the Vantage was dry stored and used sparingly throughout the 1990s until its maintenance was entrusted to respected Aston specialist Andre Bloom Thoroughbreds. The Vantage was sold to Mr De Haan in April 2003 and invoices and service stamps on file show the car was looked after by Bloom until c2007, by then owned by its fourth custodian, Mr Jackson of Cheshire

Acquired by the current owner in 2010 and used for high days and holidays, carefully stored in a temperature controlled underground parking facility and maintained annually by London based specialists Enginuity, the current mileage reads at 77,092 miles which can be warranted by service records and MoT certificates held on file

This highly original and unmolested Vantage is offered for sale fresh to the market and is supplied with complete service records, original handbook, original service booklet and sundry invoices. One of just two Vantage models ever finished in this eye-catching colour combination, this unrestored and cherished Vantage is very hard to repeat
